The AMETEK Comparators are ideal secondary standards for pressure measurement. These comparator test sets consist of a hydraulic hand pump on a pan as the pressure source, a test manifold and a set of four AMETEK US GAUGE 4.5-inch test gauges. Gauge PSIG spans vary with model. Pressure comparators are used as secondary pressure standards. They allow you to accurate and rapidly test pressure instrumentation by comparing the instrument on a pressurized test manifold with test gauges of known accuracy and span. Model T & R Comparators feature hand-operated pumps with a manual dual volume control valve. The control valve delivers high volume to rapidly build pressure, and low volume for easy pumping and a gradual approach to the calibration point. The instrument features a test manifold with Vernier for controlling pump pressure.
